Knitting in the dark

What do you do, sitting in the dark, while attending a two hour high school concert?

Are you able to sit quietly and attentively throughout?

Or do you bring a project you can do in the dark?

Simple fingerless mitts of my own handspun.

Two hours of two by two ribbing in the round, with simple buttonholes for the thumb openings.

It was a lovely concert and a productive evening!

I am so proud of you! I always feel like people look at me like I'm either out of my mind or rude. But what is wrong with knitting in public. Honestly! Really!

I have yet to master knitting in the dark, however. Must work on that one.

I'm quite envious that you can knit. Let alone in the dark. Oh well. Bet it was a great concert.

I love knitting at holiday concerts. I usually sit way at the back so the parents with cameras can get good shots and I knit away and just love, love, love the effort and skill put into the concert! Also, the light is usually better by the doors in the back!
