Kinetic Cowl
Yesterday's mystery turns out to be a Kinetic Cowl from the most recent Interweave Knits. Pattern by Amy Polcyn.
I crocheted it together this evening and gave it a try-on.
For a quick mindless knit, I'd highly recommend it. The pattern calls for a skein of worsted weight yarn. I used approximately 2 and 1/4 ounces of my worsted weight handspun.
Now I'm ready to ski tomorrow!

Love it!
What a darling picture! I love it? Are you going downhill or cross country? What a great weekend for skiing - did you get a ton of snow? We're out near St. Boni and we are happy to report plenty of snow for the kiddos to play with.
The cowl is pretty - and handspun - how cool is that?
That IS cool! I wasn't smart enough to figure out what you were making. Are you skiing in the arb or heading out of town? Are the lakes freezing up? Will we have a REALLY big backyard at the lake when we get up there for the dogs to run on?
Hey, can you send me the link for this? My friend is a basic knitter and was interested when I told her about this...
