I should have known better than to furminate the big dog out on the deck.

I thought all the fur would blow out into the yard, and the birds could pick it up to put into their nests.

But it all blew right to the deck door, in a nice pile, attaching itself to the semi sticky doormat...

My mother-in-law got one of those fancy Furminators recently. She said it worked pretty well. Looks like it worked well for you too.

My cat is short-haired, but I couldn't imagine using it on Mr. Scaredy.

Looks like fate wants you to keep that fiber and spin it. (wicked grin)

Actually, that's the dog equivelant of finding a mouse on your doorstop. Some Dog loves you!

Oh, I remember the golden retriever days....very similar....

how are the potatoes going? do you have multi colored flowers yet? we harvested radishes and are grazing along on our spinach! yeah!

My new project is curtains for the guest room. I don't feel like running out and getting liner fabric so I may have gotten done all that I will today.

Is spring work slowed for P yet or is it still nuts? When is GotH's last day of school? Let me know when she can come and visit!

love all y'all!

Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog about Beaver Creek Valley state park and advice on which trails to hike next. I can't wait to go back there.

I hope the birdies find some of your dog's fur. I found some golden dog fur recently in a chickadee nest. My dog's a German Shorthair, but we have one neighbor with a yellow lab and another has a golden doodle, so I'm thinking it could have come from either of them.
